Kettles and Coffee (Beverage) Makers
Purchasing Considerations
- Look for a thermal body—one that gets warm rather than very hot.
- Look for an automatic shut-off or whistle, or at least a heat guard. If you buy a kettle with a whistle, make sure you know how to set it to the “on” position.
- Look for a heat-resistant spout so the outside edge can be touched.
- V-shaped spouts help to direct pouring more accurately.
