Bloor-Danforth Subway Line
Learning how to use the T.T.C. safely is part of the training provided by BALANCE Orientation and Mobility instructors. On this page, you’ll find a list of the stations on the Bloor–Danforth subway line and the type of platform at each station.
The Bloor–Danforth subway travels east and west along Bloor St. and Danforth Ave. The list below starts at the west end of the line and moves eastward. The information on this page is current as of November 2007.
It’s easy to remember the platform types on the Bloor–Danforth line by noting which stations have centre platforms. These include the 2 stations at the west end (Kipling and Islington), the 2 stations at the east end (Warden and Kennedy), and the 3 stations in the middle (St. George, Bay, and Bloor–Yonge). Note that Bloor–Yonge is one station, not two.
