The Sharing Space Support Group (SSSG) offers a welcoming space to connect with others, share experiences, and support one another.
Led by Lisa Derencinovic, MSW, a professional counsellor with lived experience of blindness and several years of therapeutic counseling at BALANCE, this 10-week group for adults with visual disabilities focuses on building connection, sharing strategies, and supporting emotional well-being. Participants will explore topics such as adjusting to vision loss, navigating identity and relationships, coping with grief and life transitions, managing stress, and celebrating personal growth. Led by Lisa Derencinovic, MSW, a professional counsellor with lived experience of blindness and several years of therapeutic counseling at BALANCE, this 10-week group for adults with visual disabilities focuses on building connection, sharing strategies, and supporting emotional well-being. Participants will explore topics such as adjusting to vision loss, navigating identity and relationships, coping with grief and life transitions, managing stress, and celebrating personal growth.
