Join us to discover practical Apple Watch accessibility features that can support everyday tasks. Learn how the Apple Watch can help you track your health and fitness, find your devices, stay connected and more.

Come explore how the Apple Watch can be a useful and accessible tool in your everyday life!

What you will take away?

  • Accessibility: VoiceOver, larger text/display options, haptics and sounds
  • Everyday use: Siri, notifications and simple Apple Watch navigation
  • Health & activity: checking steps, heart rate and activity information
  • Safety: Medical ID, Emergency SOS and Fall Detection

Facilitated by Windy Ho-Li, Low Vision Assistive Technology Instructor, with co-facilitator Sahibpreet Gahunia, a fourth-year Occupational Therapy student at the University of Alberta. This Lunch & Learn will provide practical demonstrations and helpful tips for using the Apple Watch in everyday life.
