Workshop Overview
Curious about ChatGPT and how it can support accessibility? This session introduces ChatGPT—an interactive tool that can answer questions, organize ideas, and assist with digital tasks. We’ll explore what ChatGPT is, how to use it effectively, and highlight its accessibility-related benefits. From uploading photos for image descriptions to helping format documents or slides, ChatGPT offers new ways to enhance access, independence, and inclusion. The presentation will conclude with time for participant questions.
By the end of this workshop, participants will:
- Understand what ChatGPT is and how to access it.
- Learn key features and commands to interact with ChatGPT effectively.
- Explore accessibility uses such as image description, document formatting, and presentation support.
- Identify the benefits and limitations of ChatGPT for accessibility.

- Coping strategies to help manage stress, sadness, or anxiety

- How to build a crisis contact list (people and resources you can rely on)
