1:30 pm: Can-Do Fitness: Lift Weights. Lift Spirits.

March 31, 2026

BALANCE for Blind Adults is turning your workout into a community-powered act of kindness — and you’re invited!

Join us for a fun, energizing, and accessible group workout where your “weights” will make a real difference.

Here’s how it works:
Bring two canned goods of equal weight and size that you are comfortable handling. You’ll use your cans as part of our workout, building strength, balance, and cardio together in true BALANCE style. Make sure to dress in comfortable, non-restrictive clothing and supportive footwear so you’ll be ready for some fun and exercise! After we sweat, stretch, and share some laughs, all canned goods will be donated to the Parkdale Community Food Bank to help support neighbours in our community.

Why join?

  • Get moving in a supportive, blindness-friendly environment
  • Turn everyday pantry items into workout gear
  • Support local families with every lift

Whether you’re a fitness enthusiast or just can-curious, this event is all about coming together, having fun, and giving back. Let’s show what we can do — together.

Ready to feel strong and do good? Grab two cans, and we’ll see you on March 31!
