This session introduces the basics of using LinkedIn, including what key terms like profile, connection, and following mean. We’ll discuss how to build an accessible profile, search for opportunities, and connect with professionals in your field. The presentation will wrap up with time for participant questions.
By the end of this workshop, participants will:- Understand basic LinkedIn terms and navigation.
- Learn how to set up or update their profile to reflect skills and interests.
- Explore accessibility settings and inclusive posting practices.
- Discover how to search for roles, follow organizations, and connect with professionals.
- Gain confidence using LinkedIn as part of their employment journey.
