    Explore the fundamentals of boxing in this adapted Boxing 101 program designed for blind and visually impaired participants. Over six sessions, learn offense, defense, grounding, and footwork while creating your boxing persona.

    Dates: Thursdays, February 6 – March 13, 2025

    Time: 3:45 PM – 5:45 PM

    Location: West Neighbourhood House, 248 Ossington Avenue, Toronto

    Instructor: Savoy Howe, founder of the Toronto Newsgirls Boxing Club, brings decades of experience and an inspiring commitment to inclusivity in sports.

    Registration: Email info@balancefba.org or call 416-236-1796 ext. 0. Space is limited!

    This program is made possible by the Arthur and Audrey Cutten Foundation.

    Note:

    · Participants are encouraged to bring their own yoga mat and water bottle.

    · Please bring appropriate footwear to change into upon arrival to ensure safety and cleanliness during the session.

    · Allow extra travel time to account for winter weather conditions.

    · If you cannot attend all six classes, you can request to be added to the waitlist for future workshops.
