7:30 pm: Dan Minchom is back with Music to My Ears 2: Music Appreciation and Beginner Theory7:30 pm: Dan Minchom is back with Music to My Ears 2: Music Appreciation and Beginner Theory – We're excited to welcome Dan Minchom back with a slightly different course: Music Appreciation and Beginner Theory! This course will take songs selected by you and break them down from both a production and theoretical perspective. The class will discuss the tracks in regards to interesting studio techniques and each week will cover a basic music theory concept using a chosen song as an example. This is not a repeat of the November course of last year, so participants of "Music to My Ears" are encouraged to register. Dan is a Toronto based electric bassist whose performance credits include working with Jesse Cook, Madeline Merlo, amongst others. The course is 6 weeks long, and runs every Wednesday evening from 7:30 to 8:30 PM, EST, beginning March 3rd until April 7th. There are only 15 spots available.
