October 6, 2021This music-discussion group will explore “The Evolution of Recorded Music”, examining how music has been recorded through the decades. Using original multi-track recordings, instructor Dan Minchom will break down and discuss the ever-evolving techniques, tricks and technologies that allow music to sound the way it does today. We’ll also look at interesting stories of famous artists who broke the mould and set new standards for recorded music and discuss how their creativity changed audio forever. Pro Tip: Dan suggests the use of headphones for an optimal listening experience!

Beyond Siri will focus on the Calendar app and how it can best be used to keep track of upcoming events (single appointments and meetings) that we encounter on a regular basis, even if we don’t realize it! If you are ready to take a major step towards taking charge of your life, join us from 2:30 – 4:00 for Beyond Siri, The Calendar App.
Beyond Siri runs every 2 weeks on Fridays from 2:30pm-4pm. This class is for both those who are new to iPhone as well as those looking to improve their knowledge and use of the device. The purpose of these sessions is to provide a setting in which uncertainty regarding the use of or changes to specific apps can be discussed in greater detail.
