2:00 pm: Storytelling Level 1: First Steps Into the Art of Storytelling.

April 28, 2022

In this comprehensive class, taught by professional storyteller Marylyn Peringer, participants will explore the world of myths and epics, through 10 unique audio recordings of folk tales, recounted by various professional storytellers. You will have the chance to work both individually, and with a partner, on connecting the story in a variety of ways; exploring the themes, characters, language, vocalization, gestures (and more!) that go into storytelling. There will also be the opportunity for more personal storytelling, with helpful feedback from the instructor and colleagues.
